        Hi – I’m using the IDC777 Dev kit running firmware V3.0.46. I’d like to update the firmware to the latest so that the commands match documentation and hopefully the scanner apps for Android and iOS will let me send and receive data.

        I’ve tried to use communicator for Android and iOS to update firmware, but it stalls out.

        I then tried to use the serial DFU program to update to AA3080.bin, but when it gets to the end of the update sequence, I get an error:

        Waiting for image validation…
        UPGRADE_HOST_ERRORWARN_IND: error 61
        Failure: status = TRANSF_COMPLETE_IND (WAIT_FOR_INPUT), error = SERIAL_RECEIVED_ERROR

        What am I missing here?

          I was advised via support ticket to use AA-Flasher, which did allow me to update the firmware.
